I do not think that the DEG and FIX indicators are preventing you from calculating any logarithm. DEG appears to remind you that the CURRENT angle unit is the degree. You can change it to RAD or GRAD if you have to use those units. However, DEG will disappear only if replaced with RAD or GRAD.The indicator FIX reminds you that the display mode for the results is the FIXed mode, not the SCIentific mode. In the FIX mode you specify the number of decimal digits from 0 to 9 and all your results will show the set number of decimals. So if all your results have a lot of unnecessary 0, maybe you should set the FIX mode to fewer decimal digits. If you still have a problem with the calculation of logarithms, maybe the syntax you use is incorrect.Try number then logIf that does not worktry log then number.
